School is in full swing now, but the kids aren't the only ones heading back to class.
The Central Dakota Parent Resource Center is offering a series of parenting classes in Minot.
The latest class schedule is open for registration and features a variety of classes such as sign language, parenting during divorce and enhancing a child's growth and development.
You can call the NDSU Extension Service of Ward County to pre-register.
Region two resource center coordinator Holly Arnold says the classes are a collaborative effort between the instructor and parents.
(Holly Arnold, Region 2 Parent Resource Center Coordinator) "Together we can have conversations. I think when you know better, you do better, so the more we know, the more we read, the more we talk to other parents about what's working, what's not, I think is really important and helpful to parenting."
All of the classes are free except for one called Parents Forever.
The first class is September 9th.
