Target Logistics in McClusky

Posted: Updated:

Target Logistics is a well known workforce housing provider in western North Dakota, with nearly 4,000 crew camp beds in 12 locations.

The newest location is far from oil activity and may surprise you: it's in McClusky.

Minnkota Power Cooperative is housing 84 workers in McClusky to install a transmission line that will stretch from near Center to Grand Forks.

The crew will be working on the transmission line project through the end of February.

The Target Logistics Mobile Crew Camp is built to withstand both hot and cold climates featuring 24-hour dining, and private rooms.

Minkota spokesman Kevin Fee says he does not expect to be moving the crew camp again before the project is completed.

Sheridan County Sheriff Trent Naser says the first two weeks that the crew camp was open went smoothly with no calls regarding the area.
