Grace Link Celebrates 95th Birthday

Posted:

It is a very special day for our former North Dakota First Lady.

Grace Link turns 95 years young today.

An open house is being held in her honor at the Old Governor's Mansion.

Grace was North Dakota's First Lady while her husband, Arthur Link served as the state's 27th governor from 1973 to 1981.

Even though she is 95, she says she doesn't feel any different than she did yesterday and she enjoys the many friends that come to visit her.

(Nat: "Hi sweetheart! Happy Birthday!")

"I don't feel like I should be that special. I just, I like to be just me but I said if this is what they wanted then that's fine," says Grace Link, Former ND First Lady.

Grace Link is known for her humble personality.

Even though she may deny still being involved in the community at her age, her friends say she attends almost every event possible...

especially those that her husband was a part of.
