It's that time of year again.  Spirit Halloween in Bismarck is back and ready for your scary good time.

New for this year is AtmosFEAR FX, which allows you to terrorize your TV or haunt your walls and windows with special DVDs.

While Halloween is all about scary, Spirit Halloween has partnered with Sanford to help make hospital visits for kids a little less so.  One hundred percent of your contribution goes directly to Sanford Children's Department -- a two dollar donation nets you a spooky bracelets.

Spirit Halloween will be at Kirkwood Mall until November 3rd.

Fortune Cookie is becoming Grand China.  A change of ownership brings a complete remodel and a menu change-up to the Kirkwood Mall restaurant.  Look for Grand China to open next month.

Cheri Esper is a contender for the Martha Stewart American Made Audience Choice Award.  She's the owner of CE Designs & Yarn Shoppe on Broadway in Bismarck where she offers hand-knit, one-of-a-kind designs.

The contest winner will be determined by the number of votes on the Martha Stewart website.  "Even if I don't win, if there are people scrolling through all the nominees, hopefully, something will happen to help me grow my business," says Cheri.

You can vote through September 22nd at the Martha Stewart website -- www.marthastewart.com/americanmade/nominee/79721 -- or you can visit CE Designs & Yarn Shoppe on Facebook for the link.

I-Lipo comes to Anytime Fitness in South Bismarck.  "They're actually referring to this as the intelligent alternative to liposuction.  It is completely non-invasive.  It's a low-level, laser therapy treatment that allows you to target fat loss in specific areas of the body.  It is FDA-approved.  It is completely painless," says Jenelle Calhoun, i-Lipo Technician, Anytime Fitness.

And you don't have to be a gym member.  For more information, contact Jenelle at Anytime Fitness for a free consultation, 701-751-2175.
