This rainy day is not dampening the spirits of the Bismarck street fair go-ers.
And vendors are still prepared...rain or shine.
Businesses at the 40th Annual Downtowners Street Fair are able to protect their items under tarps and are for the most part, staying dry.
Even though puddles may be collecting along the curbs and business is a little bit slower today, everyone seems to be looking on the bright side.
"We have a nice river running behind our tent here and things are getting a little bit wet. We had to rearrange a little bit but it's in tact so we're okay," says Nicole Wangler, Vendor, Superior Glass Inc.
The streets are filled with the bright umbrellas of those still willing to brave the wet weather.
It's the final day of the street fair and some are eager to grin and bear it.
"People have been, I don't know, really friendly and nice and in good moods anyways even though it's raining. Obviously they don't seem to care that it's raining," says Wangler.
"Well we like to come every year and rain or shine we just like to come see what people have to share and sell and support the local businesses. So rain or shine we're going to make it," says Julie Wagendorf, Street Fair Go-er.
