The preseason is already over, and the Bismarck Bobcats are ready to start the regular season.
The Cats open the NAHL showcase tomorrow against the Soo Eagles.
The Bobcats have 14 returners this season, that's more than half the team.
The Bobcats only played two preseason games, but Head Coach Layne Sedevie likes the fact that they got so much extra practice time instead.
Coach Sedevie says the veterans came in shape and committed, and although the preseason games were an eye opener for the rookies, he says they'll be in for an even bigger experience at the Showcase.
The four game Showcase in four games, is very rare, but the returners love the chance it gives them to bond as a team.
And with two more players still to be cut before October, this weekend is an opportunity the players need to take advantage of.
