Shooting Suspects Vehicle Found in Bismarck

Posted:

The getaway vehicle for a suspect involved in a Williston area shooting yesterday is found in Bismarck.

Williams County authorities say a suspect in a shooting Wednesday morning may be in Bismarck...

A 42 year old Idaho man was shot twice, his injuries are non-life threatening.

While authorities aren't releasing the name of the suspect, the getaway vehicle the suspect used was tracked down in the Capitol city last night.

Bismarck Police say detectives found the Silver Yukon in the Hooters parking lot Wednesday night around 9:20.

However, they never made contact with the suspect.

According to the police report, officers kept an eye on the vehicle until it left around 1 a.m.

Officers followed the vehicle but lost it in traffic.

They found it parked in the 700 block of 7th Street -- and the vehicle was empty.

The Bismarck Police Department has impounded the vehicle for Williams County.

The Williams County Sheriffs Department does not have a description of the suspect other than he is black and there may be two men.
