(Samantha Huff - Longhorn Steakhouse) "We have been training and this is our final day of training before we have our friends and family and then open the doors on Monday."

LongHorn Steakhouse is found in 38 states with over 450 locations...the newest in Minot about to open. Today, staff was working one final day before the practice customers come through the doors the next two days in preparation for Monday's opening. LongHorn's goal is to be a family style restaurant with not just steak...but many down home feeling options...of course that said...they do offer a good steak or two.

(Samantha Huff - Longhorn Steakhouse) "We have a wide variety of steaks. We prepare them many different ways. You can get them wrapped, topped, grilled...we have different ways of preparing them. We have roasting with our prime rib, flattop grilling and open flame grilling."

You'll find LongHorn just east of Kohl's.

Northwest Tire on the 2 and 52 bypass has added a second building on site and today kicked off grand opening events. Chad Hoff is the new manager of the new wing of the business that will specialize in pick-up, light truck, and car work. Separating that out from heavy truck and farm equipment will make the process faster for the customer...getting them in and out much quicker.

(Chad Hoff - NW Tire Manager) "I think we can service them better. We have expanded the bays with two more tire bays and one more mechanical bay and expanded in other technology with new quick check and an oil change pit."

NW Tire is a full service facility -- not just specializing in tire work. With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
