Allegiant Air Flights may be impacted in North Dakota after the airline pulled forty-nine planes out of service after a potential maintenance issue was discovered with slides on its planes.
An Allegiant flight was evacuated on the taxiway in Las Vegas Monday and the plane's emergency slides were deployed, allowing the 144 passengers and six crew members to evacuate.
But there was a problem with one of the slides.
No Allegiant flights are scheduled to leave Minot until tomorrow afternoon and Minot Airport Manager Andy Solsvig says there has been no indication the Minot flight will be impacted.
As of this morning, fifteen of the Allegiant fleet of MD80 planes have been found compliant and are back in service.
If you have questions about your Allegiant flight in the near future, contact the airline by phone or on its website.
