MAFB Fall Festival

MAFB Fall Festival

Posted: Updated:

Military families at the Minot Air Force Base celebrated their 15th annual Fall Festival today.

The outdoor event brought in families from all different squadrons and security forces to celebrate the season.

With jumping castles, face painting, pumpkin bowling and more, kids were well entertained.

The event coordinator says that besides a fun day of games outdoors, adults were able to show off and sell their own home made house decorations for fall.

She says that it's a good way for one last "hoorah" before the harsh Minot winter sets in.

(Megan Carter, Event Coordinator) "It's just a great way to boost morale. It gets unit cohesion together, everyone just comes together and, you know, we're all friends, we all support each other, we support all of the missile wings, and just be friends. And stand by each other, and help each other out."

Proceeds from today go to the 741st gravel haulers, and individual squadrons.
