This next story features a pet that was rescued and now holds a prominent position.
Her name is Sandy, and you might recognize her.
She is kind of the mascot at Papa's Pumpkin Patch.
The seven-year-old German Shepherd/Great Dane mix definitely stands out as one of the largest dogs at the patch.
You will often see her roaming around during the week, playing with kids, and meeting other dogs.
Dave Pearce says his mom adopted Sandy from the Humane Society and she has been meeting thousands of people at the patch for the last six years.
Don't be fooled or intimidated by her size, her disposition is what makes her one of a kind.
"She loves children, she loves people."
"I think a dog's most enjoyable moments are when they find from a human being that they have the loyal love of a human, and her joy is when the kids get off the bus and they come and pet her and hug her, and run and chase with her, she is in heaven here on earth." says Dave Pearce, Papa's Pumpkin Patch.
Dogs are welcome at Papa's Pumpkin Patch, they just ask that you bring a leash for your pooch.
Papa's is open through October 19th with plenty of pumpkin harvest to come.
