It's no surprise that the government shutdown may raise questions on whether airports have been affected.
Bismarck Airport Manager Greg Haug says at their tower, they have one secretary that is furloughed.
All controllers and technicians are still on board.
Tech ops that work with navigation and communication equipment on the airfield are still there.
Haug says they're in good shape and their aviation system is intact.
"We're not seeing a huge effect. You know, there's a little secretarial help here or there but, you know, the meat and potatoes of the work that needs to get done with the tower and the control and the weather and all that stuff - it's all functioning. One hundred percent," says Greg Haug, Bismarck Airport Manager.
Haug also says flights are operating and everything is running pretty normal.
