Hostfest Honored by The Oak Ridge Boys

Posted: Updated:

The Oak Ridge Boys have been a part of the Norsk Hostfest for decades.

Now, that history is engraved in a plaque honoring the Scandinavian celebration.

Much like the years prior, the Oak Ridge Boys performed a concert today at the Hostfest, but they took a special moment to honor the festival.

The Norsk Hostfest was named an official venue for the Oak Ridge Boys' 40th Anniversary Tour.

The relationship between the group and the Norsk Hostfest is one that travels back many years.

(David Reiten, Norsk Hostfest President)"I have to give a lot of credit to my father Chester who first brought them on. Chester really thought of the Oak Ridge Boys as part of his family because they've been here for so many years, they got along so well."

You can see the Oak Ridge Boys in concert at Copenhagen Hall at one o'clock and seven o'clock each day through Saturday.
