Fall Craft Festival

Fall Craft Festival

Posted: Updated:

With Halloween and Thanksgiving right around the corner, today was a day for the Magic City to stock up on seasonal home decor at the 8th annual Novak Farm Fall Craft Festival.

Venders from as far as Granville and New Salem set up booths of their own- home made crafts just outside of Minot this morning.

From purses, to jewelry, to woodwork.. any homemade odd or end you could think of was being sold.

And while parents shopped, kids could hop on a miniature horse ride, or play in the pumpkin patch.

Jeri Novak says that this is a perfect time of year for families to come together and celebrate what this season brings.

(Jeri Novak, Owns Novak Farm) "Well, I guess what we're kind of hoping is to have a family day on the farm. And like I say, we kind of grow and try new things every year. To bring the families - you know, if the parents want to come and look around, the kids got something to do, too."

The family hopes to carry on the tradition of the craft festival in years to come.
