It's been three years of building for Ryan Family Dealerships in Minot...but the final remodel here at Ryan Chevrolet is now complete. Add in a new Honda dealership and the Buick-GMC-Cadillac location and its been a busy few years.

This location is special for Kathy Gaddie -- her father Jim Ryan purchased this 40 years ago...and that meant the make-over had to be just right. It was...and Gaddie says when you walk through the doors it will be evident

(Kathy Gaddie - Ryan Family Dealerships) "It is definitely better for our employees and we know that if we take care of our employees they in turn take care of the customers. We wanted it to be very open, very welcoming, very friendly."

A celebration of the renovation -- and of 40 years in Minot for Ryan is set for November...but they are ready for you here now.

South a few blocks on Broadway just south of the bypass actually, you'll see Dakota Market Deli and Subs. Melissa Williams has been in North Dakota for about 18 months...and a background in restaurants led to this new venture. They offer sandwiches, pasta, coffee and more -- and the growing business is getting out in the community too.

(Melissa Williams - Dakota Market) "That is what we do...we don't do full service catering where we stand with servers and everything, we do drop off catering."

Dakota Market is open to stop in and eat from 10 to 8 Monday through Saturday -- and catering when needed. With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
