Integrity Funds Hit One Billion Mark

Posted: Updated:

Integrity Viking Funds of Minot celebrated a milestone mark recently -- a big one.

The funds the company oversees have topped one billion dollars.

It has been a rapid rise in value, with one fund in particular playing a big role in the success.

The Williston Basin/Mid-North America Stock Fund has become a popular and successful purchase for many around the region...and globally.

Shannon Radke is part of the portfolio management team for the fund.

He says it has provided a way for many to tap into the success of the Bakken.

(Shannon Radke - Integrity Viking Funds) "That fund has grown from around a million dollars back in 2009 to about 700 million currently. It is a great investment opportunity for those folks who do not own any mineral acres. This is a way for them to get invested in the Bakken and become a part of what is going on out there. (Toben Taft - Integrity Viking Funds) "It is all managed locally. We do everything here in this building. Those assets and funds are 100 percent managed by local people."

The success of the Williston Basin/Mid-North America Stock Fund has earned it two prestigious Lipor Awards this year as best natural resource fund over three and five years.
