Man Partially Paralyzed following Assault in Bismarck

A 29-year-old is charged with aggravated assault after an incident Monday morning at a Bismarck apartment.

Jeramy Bison allegedly put a sheet over a victims head, wrapped a rope around his neck and hit the man with his hands and feet while the two were watching tv.

An affidavit says Bison pulled the rope tight around the victims neck and continued to punch him.

The 30-year-old victim was eventually able to get away.

He remains at a local hospital where he is being treated for paralysis to his left leg and foot, a broken nose and a possible fractured bone around his eye.

Bison is being held on $10-thousand dollars cash bond and is ordered to have no contact with the victim.
