Battle of the Unbeaten's: BHS Ready for Minot High

Posted: Updated:

The Bismarck high and Minot High football teams are both undefeated.
Minot is coming off of a tight win over Century in Minot last weekend while the Demons are coming off of a bye week.

Both teams are coming into this game riding plenty of momentum.
The last time Bismarck high lost you have to look all the way back to October 7th, 2011 against Mandan.
Since then they've won 24 straight games and 2 state titles.

Minot is 8 and 0 this year and tied atop the WDA standings with the Demons at 5 and 0.

BHS Head Coach Mark Gibson says he's happy to have this game be the Demon's regular season finale.

(MARK GIBSON/ BHS HEAD COACH) "I think you'd want it at the end of the season I think it's the thing that you get to see where you stack up against a very good opponent and I think it's something that basically after we play this game, we've played about every team that's in the playoffs. It's a good thing for us because now we get to see what they have and what we gotta do to get better at if we do so certainly in a game like this turnovers and field position is gonna come into play. "

The game between Minot and BHS starts at 7 PM at the bowl in Bismarck. We'll also be broadcasting it live on the KX weather channel 12 dash 3 or channel 591.

The winner will remain undefeated and take the top spot in the west heading into Class AAA playoffs.
