Kids Trick-or-Treat Early at Zoo Boo

Posted:

Things are definitely going "boo" at the zoo.

Kids got to taste Halloween a little early at the second annual Zoo Boo celebration.

The fall sunshine made it a perfect day for kids and parents to show off their colorful costumes.

Hundreds of children and families wait as patiently as they can in line for an afternoon of trick-or-treating.

Over 50 area business and organizations participate and hand out candy.

Zoo Director Terry Lincoln says Zoo Boo is a great way for kids to celebrate Halloween in a safe and enjoyable environment.

The money raised for admission will go toward caring for the zoo through the winter months.
