Hit and Run Information Wanted

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released information on a hit and run accident that injured one person around six o'clock Sunday morning.

According to a release from the Patrol, 62-year-old John Wanecke of Bismarck was injured after he was rear-ended on his scooter, by an unknown vehicle.

He was hit while traveling north on Highway 1804 near the Bismarck airport.

The vehicle that hit him and caused Wanecke to sustain numerous injuries after being thrown from his scooter did not stop at the scene and remains at large.
