The State Health Department is contacting more people in the Minot area, asking them to be tested for Hepatitis-C.
State Epidemiologist Tracy Miller says the department is very concerned at the number of people infected in the outbreak that was identified in recent weeks.
A total of 27 people have been identified as carrying the Hepatitis strain involved in this outbreak.
So far, more than 350 people have been tested, and about 230 more are being contacted to be tested.
Miller says the investigation into the outbreak will continue as long as needed to track down all people infected.

A two-year-old child was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Minot Sunday evening.
