Halloween Fun

Posted: Updated:

Halloween night is when all the ghouls, ghosts and goblins come out to enjoy the night of terror.

But the little ones got an early start to the festivities today before the sun went down.

Kids from the Minot got dressed up in their costumes this morning to go trick or treating at the Downtown Treat Trail.

Downtown Minot wasn't the only place to fill the goody basket.

The MSU Dome and Dakota Square Mall also handed out treats to kids

And while trick or treating is usually for later on in the evening, its never to early to add to the pile of candy.

(What's your favorite part of Halloween?) "Getting candy"

(What's your favorite candy?) "Suckers"

"I have a lot of candy!"

"Me too!"

(What's your favorite part of Halloween?) "Dressing up"

"I don't know. You can be really whatever."

"The dressing up part [is the best part]. You put the candy in the bags and you dress up."

(Brooke Melby, Daycare Worker) " It's a great thing for the kids to come down during the day, it's not so scary for them. It's light outside and its fun for them to walk around and see the other kids trick or treating."
