Basin Electric Cooperative developed a way to sell surplus materials that are no longer needed in the company's facilities.
The website is called Surplus MarketPlace.
It's user friendly and works just like eBay.
Employees of Basin as well as the general public can bid on a wide variety of items online.
"We've got a lot of CPUs with software installed that we're selling. We've got vehicles. I've got five vehicles out there right now. We'll be adding some more vehicles next week. We've got some office furniture and we've also had in the past we've had some plant equipment out there that needs to be sold," says Spencer Giddings, Supervisor of Material Services, Basin Electric.
