Local restaurants are serving up soup for a babies in need.
This is the first Bowls for Babies event held in Bismarck.
Nearly 400 bowls have been hand painted by local artists, businesses and students.
For 20 dollars, you can get soup, bread and then pick a bowl to keep.
100% of proceeds support the March of Dimes mission to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, prematurity, and infant mortality.
(Stephanie Anton / Chairperson) "You actually get a souvenir to take home and they are all unique. No bowl is the same as another bowl. Some are extremely extravagantly nice by artists, some of them are more my style where I just did a couple stripes on it. But they are all different so that is the nice part about it."
Two of the bowls were raffled.
One was painted by NDSU head football coach, Craig Bohl and the other was autographed by Florida Georgia Line.
