STEER Holds Fund Raiser

Posted: Updated:

Not all donations come in the form of money.

One organization that accepts hard work as donation wants to say thank you.

Tonight, STEER Incorporated is sponsoring a Missions Fellowship Dinner to show its gratitude.

STEER is an organization that provides food to missionaries by providing crops and cattle to farmers and ranchers who donate their time and labor.

Anyone interested in attending the event is welcome, it starts at 6:30 tonight.

It's free of charge and open to the public.

Last July the group celebrated 20 million dollars in donations.

Tonight's dinner is to honor the missionaries and the supporters but it's also a thanks to the farmers.

(Paul Singer, Field Operations Director) "We will also recognize the farmers and ranchers who put in the hard work. Some of the hardest working people in America, we believe. Even as you look back on this past calving seasons, which was remarkably difficult and we So we will recognize them and thank them."

interested in donating to STEER contact the Bismarck office at 258-4911 or visit the website at STEER-INC dot com.
