CEO Takes Over Receptionist Job for Afternoon

Posted:

It was a Halloween Deal.

Following a costume contest, the woman who dressed as Cee Lo Green at the Center for Women clinic won an exciting prize.

CEO Marvin Lein's nerves are high as he takes the hot seat ready to spend a day in the life of a receptionist.

He even dressed the part in his Mid Dakota blues to fit in with the ladies.

Susan Scheurer gives her CEO a few pointers before she leaves work for the day -- her prize for winning...

"I'm terrified. Absolutely terrified," says Marvin Lein, CEO Mid Dakota Clinic.

"Everybody I've talked to thinks it's just awesome that he's willing to do that and that he cares about all the positions at the clinic and wants to know what we actually do every day. Because we all have a part that we play to make the clinic run smoothly and I think it's just great that he wants to do that," says Susan Scheurer, Receptionist, Center For Women.

Lein is relying heavily on the help from his fellow receptionists to help him get through his --4 hours on the job.

Scheurer says she's confident that he will do a fine job and appreciates his willingness to take on their many duties.

"I don't think you can really understand that until you have the opportunity to actually go out and do their jobs and interact with customers and get a real feel for what happens on a day to day basis, on a minute by minute basis and this gives me an opportunity to do this," says Lein.

Lein says in the future, he thinks he might make experiencing other jobs mandatory for his administrative team.
