Minot CDBG Plan Approved

The city of Minot has been approved to receive more than 20-million dollars in Community Development Block Grant funds, and another 15-million dollars is expected to be awarded.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development OK'd the city's plan for acquiring homes and offering up to ten thousand dollars in grants to homeowners who rebuilt after the 2011 flood.

This is the second round of CDBG funds to be awarded to Minot for flood recovery.
