Two people were arrested last night on felony drug charges

Around 11 o'clock last night police identified a vehicle belonging to 34 year old Dustin Goettel of Minot.

When police attempted to pull him over Goettel did not stop.

When he finally stopped, Goettel dropped a gun and ran away but was eventually caught.

34 year old Cynthia Altschuller of Lincoln was a passenger, she remained in the car.

Officers searched the vehicle and found methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, marijuana, marijuana paraphernalia and several open liquor containers.

Goettel faces eight charges including: possession of Meth with intent to deliver, and possession of a firearm by a convicted Felon.

Altschuller faces four charges, including possession of meth with intent to deliver.

Possession of methamphetamine is a AA Felony.

About 38 grams of meth was seized.
