A Belcourt man whose father is serving a prison sentence for murder, has admitted to murder in the stabbing death of another man one year ago.
23-year-old Daniel Greatwalker, Junior pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the death of Perry Picotte.
Picotte was reported missing on November 27th last year and his body was discovered December 2nd.
Greatwalker faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison on the murder charge - his sentencing is set for February 10th.
Greatwalker's father - Daniel Greatwalker, Senior, is in prison on a murder conviction for killing Linus Wallette in 2002 on the Turtle Mountain Reservation.
The elder Greatwalker beat Wallette with a pick-ax, knife, and hammer.
