Kelsh Charged with Actual Physical Control

Posted:

Another North Dakota state legislator that voted for stricter drunk driving laws has been arrested on DUI charges.

Representative Scot Kelsh, a Democrat from Fargo, was arrested Monday night on

I-29 near the Main Avenue exit by the North Dakota State Highway Patrol.

Kelsh has been in the state legislature since 1996.

This comes after Senator Joe Miller, a Republican from Park River, was arrested for DUI back in June.

Both voted for tougher D-U-I laws last session.
