A Manitoba woman was killed when the pickup she was driving collided head-on with a semi on Highway 83 north of Minot during yesterday's snow storm.
The Highway Patrol reports 62-year-old Judith Harkness of Melita died and her passenger, a Carnduff, Saskatchewan woman, was injured in the accident.
The patrol reports Harkness came upon a semi that was stopped on Highway 83, waiting to turn left onto County Road 6 when she veered left, into the path of an oncoming semi driven by a Minot man.
The semi driver was not injured in the crash.

A two-year-old child was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Minot Sunday evening.
