Allegiant Debuts Direct Flight to Orlando from Bismarck

For the first time from the Bismarck airport...

There's a tropical takeoff--to Orlando.

The first Allegiant flight from Bismarck to Orlando takes off this weekend.

The airport is full of excited passengers celebrating this new opportunity.

"We're going to Orlando because it's a direct flight and that's nice because you don't have to stop in Minneapolis. Then we're spending the first week with my daughter at St. Simons Island, Georgia which is just right over the boarder," say Ruth & Bill Johnson, Passengers on Allegiant Flight.

"Go to Seaworld and the beach and Disney World," says Emma Conrey, Passenger on Allegiant Flight.

According to Justin Ralencotter, a spokesperson with Allegiant, Orlando is a high demand vacation spot.

There are introductory fares right now if you purchase by the 30th.

"The convenience of having that nonstop flight is definitely a big asset. It saves people a lot of time and you save people money as well. Our success in Bismarck - you know, we're really happy with the response that we've gotten from the community and we're thrilled to add this new addition to our existing routes from Bismarck," says Justin Ralencotter, PR Specialist with Allegiant Airlines.

The flights will be operating twice a week - Saturdays and Tuesdays.

After a couple months it will change to Saturdays and Wednesdays.
