Santa Visits Minot

Santa Visits Minot

Posted: Updated:

There's a lot of red and green at the mall already, as Santa seems to be giving up his Thanksgiving with Mrs. Clause to get a head start on the growing number of kids in Minot this year.

While Christmas Eve is a month away, these excited youngsters were just fine with getting to spend some time with St. Nicholas a few days early.

One girl says even though it's not even thanksgiving yet, she and her family are just excited to spend time together for the holidays -- and, of course, tell Santa what they want for Christmas.

(Kaylen, Age 7) "Well, giving thanks to your friends and family, and having a good time."

(So what are you going to ask Santa for today, for Christmas?"

"I'm going to ask for an iPad."

Families are now welcome for pictures with Santa during almost all hours that the mall is open.

And tonight at midnight, Christmas trees will be available for purchase at Dakota Square.
