Menards Refuses to Go Gray

Posted:

As stores have moved their Black Friday opening times earlier and earlier, one store refuses to go gray.

Menards remains one of the few that actually closed for Thanksgiving and opened at 6am on Black Friday.

Brian Frank, General Manager of Menards in Bismarck says their customers understand its sales every year.

He says their turnout is just as good this year as any other.

"Our corporate office decided it was more about the family on the holiday and sticking with the tradition of staying Black Friday as Black Friday - leaving it to Friday so it's good for our team members and it's good for our guests," says Brian Frank, General Manager, Menards.

Frank says as far as what future Black Fridays hold, this is the way Menards will continue business from now on.
