Small Business Day

Small Business Day

Posted: Updated:

Now that we're full-swing into the holiday season, shopping and enjoying Christmas goodies is how many weekends are being spent.

And today, the small businesses all over the country were acknowledged for providing people with those very things.

Downtown Minot was filled with shoppers today who were out to support local shops and restaurants.

For Delisimo, a cafe that just opened a few weeks ago, their first ever Small Business Saturday was a success.

The owner appreciates being a part of something like this because she says it's rewarding to feel so much support from the community.

(Jaime Schwede, Owner of Delisimo) "Now we have our regulars, and it's really nice to get to know people. Being downtown in Minot has been a lot of fun."

Delisimo is located downtown, behind Gourmet Chef and has homemade soup, sandwiches and pastries.
