Dan's to Buy Central Market in Bismarck

A local grocery store is changing hands.

Dan's Super Market announces it has entered into an agreement to purchase Central Market. It's owned by Grand Central, Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.

The deal should be finalized by the end of December 2013.

The release says current employees are encouraged to apply for jobs at Dan's.

Dan's is also building a new store in northeast Bismarck at the corner of Centennial Road and Century Avenue.

Construction will begins this spring and the store is expected to open in late 2014.
