You may soon have another low fare airline choice in North Dakota.
That is the expected result of the sale of Frontier Airlines.
Indigo Partners has purchased the airline saying one of the key elements to Frontier's future success will be operating as an ultra low cost carrier that offers low fares.
Frontier serves Minot, Williston, Bismarck, Dickinson, and Fargo in North Dakota.
Bismarck Airport Manager Greg Haug says while travelers may pay less for flights, they may have to pay for extra services.
Haug also says he expects Frontier to expand the number of markets serves.
In addition, both had recently been released from state prison.
A two-year-old child was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Minot Sunday evening.
