An overnight blaze has destroyed two apartment buildings in Williston.
Fire officials were called to Harvest Hills --- a complex of four buildings under construction on the West side of the city at about 1:45 a.m. today.
The situation quickly turned from fighting the fire, to trying to save existing structures…
Harvest Hills has two other apartment buildings situated close to the two that were on fire.
Firefighters were able to save those buildings.
Much like the Chateau Apartment fire in Minot last week, these apartments were under construction at the time of the fire this morning.
There were up occupied and nobody was injured in the fire.
Authorities say there was no need for evacuations in the area either.
The battle against the fire was so long, the Williston Herald reported today that diesel fuel had to be trucked onto the site to keep trucks going.
Harvest Hills is near the municipal golf course on Williston's west side.
The state fire marshal has been called in to help determine what caused the fire.
