A Texas company has been hit with a multi-million dollar fine for violating terms of a housing permit in Williams County.
Texas-based Stallion Oilfield Services were fined 2-point-6 million dollars.
A county official says Stallion had been approved for placing 25 units on a site in 2011, but installed more than double that amount.
The county says the company was attaching five and six units together and calling them a single unit.
If Stallion fails to pay the fine and does not remove the units, the county plans to assess additional fines for all 54 units on the site.
