New Year's Eve Puts Cabs in Hot Demand

Posted:

New Year's Eve puts cabs in hot demand.

Gary Schumacher owner of Taxi 9000 says this is their busiest night of the year.
He says on a typical night there will be 12-14 cabs on the streets, he says 20 will be out tonight.
He says the busiest hours of the night are between 12 and 2.

(Gary Schumacher / Taxi 9000) "Coming up with the drivers, the order takers, people answering the phone,  the dispatcher, the extra mechanic help that we need to make sure that we have everything in optimum usage, it's an effort."

If you need a cab tonight, their number is 223-9000.
Schumacher asks for you to watch for your cab and be patient to help tonight go smoother.
