New Year's Eve was a busy night for police departments in Western North Dakota.
Minot Police Department Cpt. John Klug says in the 12 hours surrounding ringing in the new year, officers responded to a total of 70 calls for service.
As a result of those responses, 15 adults were arrested, three of those for Driving Under the Influence.
...
Williston Police Department Lt. Randy Haugenoe says that while he did not have precise numbers, Williston was also very busy last night with several alcohol related arrests.
Lt. Haugenoe says that on the up side, there were no fights and no celebration related injuries.
