Business Beat 1-2-14

Home Depot in Minot is nearly a construction completion -- and is set to open its doors this month. Officials with the company say the plan is to open for business on the 16th -- which is two weeks from today. Not everything will be ready to go however. Manager Jason Barker says the construction lumber area will be a bit behind schedule...which is ok in that it isn't in very high demand this time of the year anyway.

A new business has opened its doors full time now. This is Master of Detailing, LLC -- found just south of Burdick Expressway on Maple Street. The husband and wife team of Shaun and Crystal Lewelly. They have been doing this work cleaning out the exterior and interior of vehicles for about five years...but recently decided to take the business full time. It doesn't matter what you drive...it can be made to look new here...

(Shaun and Crystal Lewelly - Master of Detailing, LLC) "Takes about three or four hours depending on how dirty it is. We do any type of vehicle from semi cabs to SUVs to trucks...campers, motorcycles, you name it, we do it."

You can find their work on Facebook...just search Master of Detailing. With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson
