One second chance option turns 13.
The Bismarck/Mandan Drug and DUI Court is officially a teenager.
Since the program started in 2001, 144 individuals have successfully completed the program.
Currently there are 24 men and women trying to get their lives back on track by regularly attending treatment, court and working to get jobs.

We lose some, but we make every effort. the Judges do and if their dance card gets picked up, their other option is out east of town. These folks are trying. They've been dealt a very tough hand early on. Everyone and their lawmakers, the Supreme Court, District Judges, we are trying to help them and give them a second chance."
The Drug Court began January 5, 2001.
