Three-Vehicle Crash Causes Two Minor Injuries

An accident north of Bismarck lands two people in the hospital with minor injuries.

The three-vehicle crash happened just north of Bismarck around 3:30 Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of 71st Avenue North and Highway 83.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, two vehicles were stopped at the red light when a third vehicle pulled up from behind and failed to stop, rear-ending one, and causing a chain reaction accident with the front vehicle.

The driver and passenger in the vehicle that struck the others from behind did suffer minor injuries.

Eight people were in the three vehicles, and everyone involved in the accident was wearing seatbelts.

One citation was issued.
