Governor Dalrymple Collects on NDSU Game Wager

Posted:
Bismarck, ND -

As if a championship trophy isn't enough...

North Dakota's Governor collects on a side bet he made on the NDSU Championship game against Towson.

Maryland's Governor Martin O'Malley put his crab cakes up against Dalrymple's North Dakota Pasta.

NDSU beat Towson 35-7 two weeks ago in Texas.

And today... Dalrymple cashed in on his winning wager, a box of six Faidley Crab Cakes.

According to Faidley's website each crab cake is made to order and shipped fresh.

Governor Dalrymple says he really likes crab cakes and says they are Betsy's first choice when they go to a good restaurant.

"There are crab cakes and there are crab cakes and there are some restaurants I would not advise ordering them. But I think it's pretty well known that in Maryland they probably have the best. Jumbo lump is what you are looking for that means large pieces of crab," says Governor Dalrymple.

Like the Bison, Governor Dalrymple is also undefeated.

He has a perfect record on bets he has made with fellow Governor's during his time in office.
