Veterans Educational Training Program

For veterans looking to get back into school, it can be tough to make that step.

Now there's a program that provides space for veterans at campuses across the state.

Veterans Educational Training allows veterans to take college prep courses online at NDSU, UND, and soon, the University of Mary.

It helps to ease them into a formal education setting.

Lab space and staff will be available to assist in the online process.

Rachael Brash, Director of U-Mary Worldwide says there's a need for these programs in the state.

"We feel pretty connected to the military community and we know that a lot of them are coming home and they're looking to enter the job market. They're looking to go back to school and there's a lot of hesitation with that. So we want to help support that process and get them back in to civilian life," says Rachael Brash, Director, U-Mary Worldwide.

The program at U-Mary will begin sometime this spring.
