Billboard Clean Up

Posted: Updated:

Clean-up outside The Ranger Lounge in Minot moved along quickly Friday.

The response was fast by Newman Advertising crews to the billboard collapse that happened early Wednesday morning.

The advertisement came crashing down on top of two vehicles in the parking lot of The Ranger Lounge.

Despite the damage done to an employee's car and a customer's car, business has carried on as usual.

The owner, Rick Napora says he would prefer the billboard was not replaced.

(Rick Napora, Owner, The Ranger Lounger) "I'm hoping not, but we'll see. We're still under contract for another four years or so. So, if they choose to put one up, it'll be here for four years, and no more."

Winds were gusting near 70 miles an hour Wednesday morning when the billboard came down.
