Storage Unit Break-In

Storage Unit Break-In

Posted: Updated:

About one-thousand-dollars worth of merchandise was stolen from a storage unit in southeast Minot last night.
Now the owners are picking up the pieces.

Pheasants for the Future planned on auctioning the recently stolen items in March.
This is the second time they have been robbed in the past five years.

(Mike Klein, VP Pheasants for the Future) "We got word about eight o'clock saying that, we got a call saying that the padlock was gone on the storage unit, and so we sent a guy out here and it was broken into. We all come down here, and tried to see what we could find. There is nothing we can really do, but just go out and work with what we got, and maybe buy some more stuff and get it going. We have stuff, but we are missing a lot of good stuff."

Sgt. Paul Burns says multiple units were broken into and police officers are still investigating.
