Customers can comfortably pay for their everyday purchases using their smartphones
Whether you are buying organic products, fine wines or freshly prepared pastries - shopping at WASGAU is an experience, and has been for the past 88 years. Still in the first half of 2014, customers at any of WASGAU's 90 branches will be enjoying their purchases more quickly than ever before, as WASGAU Produktions & Handels AG is integrating the first European cross-channel payment, Yapital, at its 300 checkouts. Customers will be able to use their smartphones to pay for everyday purchases within seconds, securely and easily. Paying the buying is simple: Scanning a QR code shown on the customer display at the checkout using the Yapital app on the smartphone, clicking "confirm" - that's it.
