Judge Orders Cobb's Bond Reduced

Posted:

A judge reduces the amount of money Craig Cobb has to post to get out on bail.

If Cobb can post 100-thousand dollars he will be released from jail.

Cobb's attorney Ryan Heintz submitted a letter to district court judge Donald Jorgensen Wednesday requesting bond be reduced to 35-thousand dollars.

Bond had been set at one-million dollars.

The document supplied by the court officially states the bond was modified so Cobb could post 10 percent of the million dollar bond if he pays cash.

Grant County State's attorney Todd Schwarz says the judge did what he thought was appropriate and the state will respond accordingly.
